Fault finding questions, answered

How much does fault finding cost?

Most faults around Crawley and Horsham are found and fixed for between £120 and £350. Tell us about the fault on the phone and we will give you an honest idea. Then we confirm the price before we start, so you know the cost before we touch anything.

Why does my fuse box keep tripping?

Most often it is a faulty appliance, damp in an outside light or a damaged cable. We test circuit by circuit to find which one it is, rather than guess. The switch that trips (the RCD) is doing its job.

Half my sockets have stopped working. Is that serious?

It is usually a loose connection on one circuit and very fixable. Loose connections can get hot, so do not leave it. We can normally trace and repair it in one visit.

How quickly can you get to me?

We keep room in the diary for faults and urgent jobs. Anything that sounds dangerous goes first. Call us and we will give you an honest time.
